Warwick Embury was born in Chelsea, London. He now resides full-time in Ireland. His deep passion for being a songwriter has led him over the last 25 years to work with varied troubadours, many famous, many not.

In the 70šs he made friends with the brilliant American songwriter Bobby Whitlock, who was at that time with Eric Clapton and he co-wrote 'Layla', 'Bell Bottom Blues', 'Let It Rain' and many more. Warwick co-wrote a song with him which has been released this year on his new album 'About Time' on Grapevine Records.

For most of the '80s, Warwick managed the legendary "Donovan" - most of that time being in the USA. He refers to that period as "most fruitful". In the late '80s and '90s, he was approached by many recording artists to act as their manager. He declined, wishing to fulfill his own career.

Primarily a writer, Warwick has spent the last few years, consolidating his writing and performance skills. His musical influences being manly Black American, Blues, Soul and Tamla. Several of his songs appeared on 3 compilations, and in 1996 he formed 'The Regulators' with the marvelous Irish Guitarist Philip Donnelly.

The Regulators first and only album 'The Spirit Of Communication' was well received, however after 3 years Warwick decided to go solo and released his CD 'The Demo Tapes' in July 2000.

Both his music and delivery are honest and soulful. He remains an enigma whose live shows bring out the best in him. He injects his own enthusiasm and eccentric view of live into both the lyrical content of the songs and the overall philosophy of his performance.
